Julian Rubinstein’s feature documentary The Holly screens at TACAW in Willits Thursday, August 25 at 7:30 p.m.

The journalist spent seven years researching, writing and publishing a book of the same name.

Together, the book and film weave an intricate web examining development, gentrification, gang activity, and abuses by law enforcement in Denver.

Rubenstein and the film's subject, former gang leader Terrance Roberts (pictured above), will facilitate a community discussion following the film.
