A Basalt man arrested about three weeks ago for allegedly throwing chemical-filled bottles into the Roaring Fork River was charged with six felonies Monday. Forty-three-year old Ricardo Parras-Membreno faces up to 36 years in prison if convicted of all six counts. But, law enforcement still doesn't know the purpose of the hazardous liquid inside the bottles. KDNK’s Amy Hadden Marsh spoke with Basalt Police Chief Greg Knott Monday for an update on the case.
