Signature-Gathering Firm Absconds With Initiative 97 Petitions

Colorado Risingis spearheading the effort to get Initiative 97on November’s ballot to increase oil and gas setbacks to 2500 feet from schools, playgrounds and other areas. Last month, petition-gathering firm Direct Action Partnersabsconded with signed petitions. Attorney Joe Salazar represents Colorado Rising and spoke with KDNK’s Amy Hadden Marsh about the situation.
