KDNK's News Director Morgan Neely brings listeners stories from the listening area and greater Mountain West, including a vile incident of racism and homophobia directed towards a RFTA bus driver. Also, older adults in Colorado could be in for significant relief at the pharmacy, and federal grants are headed to support students and their mental health at high-need schools. Finally, KDNK Reporter Hattison Rensberry speaks with White River National Forest's Shelly Grail to learn about safety tips during this autumn's hunting season.

Morgan is KDNK's News Director. He comes to KDNK with public radio passion and experience. He was a news host, reporter, and operations/programming director at KAJX-Aspen, and has extensive experience working in municipal government.
Hattison Rensberry has a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and Drawing, but has worked for newsrooms in various capacities since 2019.
She also provides Editorial Design for the Sopris Sun.
