In 1992, Leadville residents started a community kitchen at the Saint George Episcopal Church. 30 years later, they want to expand their mission by renovating the kitchen. On Thursday, they’ll host a concert featuring folk duo Story Hill to raise money for the project. KDNK’s Lucas Turner spoke with Amy Frykholm a community meal supervisor, about the fundraiser, and what the proposed renovation could mean for food access in Lake County.
