What are the Membership Levels and Premiums?
Memberships at a minimum of $72/year or $6/month entitle you to the opportunity to become a DJ or Host (pending training) and vote and/or run for the KDNK Board of Directors.
Memberships above $120/year or $10/month come with a free t-shirt or hat and entitles a second member of the household to vote in Board elections.
Memberships above $420 or $35/month may pick two pieces of swag.
All Members above the pet level get early access and discounts to various KDNK events. You also get a $10 discount on additional merch purchases.
You can call us at 970-963-0139 if you have other questions about membership levels. They are merely recommendations—we encourage you to give from the heart at whatever level you can.
All memberships entitle you to the classic KDNK bumper sticker - new members should receive one along with your thank you card if you have supplied us with a mailing address.
What are Pet Memberships?
Pet memberships can simply be an entry-level way to show KDNK your support, but we do have uniquely numbered KDNK pet tags available for you. Pet members are added to a reference list for our on air DJ to contact you if your pet is found. Please pick up at the station or we can send them by mail for a $10 postage fee.
If you want a tag please put the name and type of pet you would like a tag for in the notes/comments section. You will have to pick the tag up at the station or you can add another $10 to your donation for us to mail it to you.
Is monthly or annual giving better?
We appreciate both styles of giving. Monthly members help the station maintain a good base of income throughout the year while while one-time gifts are very important to propel momentum during our membership drives and finish the year strong.
If you are giving monthly we prefer using direct deposit / electronic funds transfer (EFT). That saves us significant credit card fees over time and reduces staff time dealing with cancelled or expired credit cards.
To set up EFT/direct deposit call Chris at 970-963-0139 (x105), mail a voided check to KDNK at PO Box 1388, Carbondale, CO 81623 (Please include a note with the monthly amount you would like deducted), or bring that check or info to the station at 76 S. 2nd Street in person.
How can I support KDNK through my business or employer?
Basic business member memberships are customarily $200. You may give at the level you are able via the online platform or with a check.
We also have Challenge Match packages that devote time during the drive to featuring your business and also come with underwriting messages for later use. Email tracy@kdnk.org for details or call (970) 963-0139 (x101).
We appreciate the many businesses that donate gift cards & items to our annual Labor of Love Auction in December. Email chris@kdnk.org if you have something to donate.
If you offer a service or product of use to the station we routinely offer underwriting trade or documentation of in-kind support. Email tracy@kdnk.org if you have further questions about in-kind support.
Many employers offer to match employee non-profit donations. Inquire with your employer to see if they will match your gift to KDNK.
How can I get swag if I don't live nearby?
We will send you swag with an extra $10 postal fee. Detail your size and request in the donation comments or email chris@kdnk.org. We expect to launch print-to-order merch sales sometime in 2026.
