Weekend Calendar

KDNK

Here's your community calendar for Saturday, April 4th, underwritten by Basalt Regional Library, presenting the Library Lovers’ Party on Friday, April 24th, from 6-8PM. This celebration will focus on relationship-building and strengthening the connections that make our community thrive, and will feature food, drinks, music and more. More info at basalt library dot org

We've only got 4 items on the schedule for you, but fittingly enough today is 4/4, just like the time signature of the majority of the music you hear on KDNK. Hopefully something on our calendar today can help you find your rhythm…

  • The Pitkin County Library holds a Beginner Weaving workshop from 3 to 5 today
  • Urbane Coyote plays at Heather's Savory Pies in Basalt at 6:30pm
  • The Carbondale Community School puts on a Contra Dance night starting at 7
  • And The Sopris Mountain Boyz descend into El Dorado in Carbondale, music begins at 8 this evening

And here's a few more activities for Easter Sunday…

  • True Nature puts on a Self-Realization Fellowship and Community Meditation tomorrow morning at 9am
  • The Easter Bunny visits Glenwood Canyons Adventure Park from Noon to 3 tomorrow
  • The Carbondale Bike Project offers bike repair assistance from Noon to 6 tomorrow at The Third Street Center
  • The Crystal Theatre shows a 1pm matinee of Pixar's dystopian classic WALL-E
  • The Glenwood Library presents The Sacred Connection, their monthly Sound Immersion Series, that'll be at 3pm tomorrow
  • Alya Howe's Ecstatic Dance returns to the Old Thompson Barn in RVR, with Gabriela Mejia on DJ duty, that's tomorrow at 5pm
  • And Botany Houseplant Shop holds a Spring Daffodil Arranging workshop, that's at 5:30 tomorrow

Keep your community in the loop about events and programming ideas by emailing calendar@kdnk.org. Even though we've given some options for things to do today, you don't have to commit to anything right this minute, keep your options open and make it a Spontaneous Saturday.
