Here's your community calendar for Friday, January 30th, underwritten by Basalt Regional Library, presenting LOGO LIGI African Drum and Dance on Saturday, February 7th at 3PM. This high-energy, family-friendly performance celebrates the joy of music and movement. Featuring three master drummers and seven dynamic dancers, this performance reflects the way stories, history, and traditions are passed down. More info at basalt library dot org.

The stars have aligned for the Final Friday of January - we've got fun events happening every half-hour, throughout the KDNK listener area today…

  • Starting off at 5pm this evening, The Art Base unveils an exhibition from Basalt High School students from the Laura Thorne Sculpture Mentorship
  • Over in Leadville, the Lake County Library holds a Community Sketchbook Circle at 5:30pm
  • Rock & Roll Academy's Winter Performance features local youth musicians, that's at 6pm at TACAW.
  • The Leadville Dance Collective introduces a monthly Line Dancing Workshop, with the first event tonight at 6:30.
  • The Crystal Theatre begins showing Marty Supreme at 7 tonight, this flick runs all weekend as well as Monday.
  • Don Was and the Pan-Detroit Ensemble play The Grateful Dead's "Blues For Allah" in its entirety starting at 7:30 this evening at the Wheeler Opera House
  • Olivia The Bard returns to Steve's Guitars tonight at 8pm
  • Belly Up Aspen presents An Evening With The Revivalists, doors open at 8:30 for that show.
  • And hometown heroes Sweet Jessup & The Dirty Buckets head to Rock Island in Snowmass for a 9pm performance.

  • Sunlight Mountain puts on an Uphills Skills Clinic tomorrow at 10am
  • The Silt Library's "Pioneering for the Modern Day" workshop starts up at 1pm tomorrow
  • Then at 2 tomorrow, the Pitkin County Library holds an Art Supply Swap
  • And Thunder River Theatre puts on a benefit for their upcoming K2 program, called "Ignite The Climb," which starts at 5pm tomorrow
