Here's your community calendar for Monday, December 22nd, underwritten by Basalt Regional Library, presenting "Storytime in Sign" on Thursday, January 8th at 3:45PM. During this special story time, books will come to life through American Sign Language. This event is geared towards kids 3 to 7 years old, but open to everyone. More info at basalt library dot org.

It may be a holiday week but there's still plenty to keep you busy today…

  • Lift Up provides food and pantry items at the 3rd Street Center in Carbondale from 10:30 to 12:30 today, and from 3 to 6pm today at their Parachute Warehouse. Lift Up's Pantries and Offices will be closed for the rest of the week after today.
  • Osmia Skin Care holds their Local Love: Holiday Edition community gathering from 11 to 3 today, and again tomorrow at the same time
  • The Basalt Library puts on a Blood Drive with the Chris Klug Foundation, that's also from 11 to 3.
  • Carbondale Arts' Deck The Walls Holiday Market is open til 5pm today and tomorrow, and until 2pm on Christmas Eve
  • The Wheeler Opera House puts on two performances of DanceAspen's Snowy Soirée, at 3 and again at 5
  • The Pitkin County Library teams up with High Rockies Harm Reduction for a Narcan Training & Access seminar, that's at 5:30 this evening
  • English In Action holds their Open Hours at 6:30 at the Carbondale Library
  • And Christian McBride & Benny Green continue the Paul JAS Center Grand Opening series at 6:30 tonight

And if you need a music fix for Tuesday the 23rd…

  • Bradman plays live at Westbound & Down in Willits starting tomorrow at 6pm
  • Pianist Chloe Flower performs at the Wheeler Opera House at 6 tomorrow
  • Tom & Julie Paxton put on a Christmas Concert tomorrow at the Hoffman Hotel, that's at 6 as well
  • And Belly Up Aspen presents an Evening with MRE, with doors open at 8:30pm tomorrow night
