- Starting at 4, Basalt's Merry On Midland event features live music, a scavenger hunt, and a tree-lighting.
- Jason Abbott plays at 4:30 at Glenwood Caverns for Friday Afternoon Club
- Also at 4:30, the Rifle Climbing Center offers a Parents' Night Off event for local youth climbers
- Then at 5 in Snowmass Village, Slope & Hatch celebrates the grand opening of their newest location, and Viewline Resort puts on a tree lighting ceremony.
- Carbondale Clay Center's 28th Annual Cup Auction gets underway at 6pm, that's at the River Valley Ranch Barn.
- Also at 6, Sweet Jessup & The Dirty Buckets bust out all the instruments at Mountain Heart's Basalt Location
- At 7 tonight, the Crystal Theatre begins screening Eternity.
- Weather Guru Joel Gratz puts on a seminar about new technologies for assessing Avalanche Risk, that's at 7pm at Bristlecone Mountain Sports
- At 9, Pastime Saloon in Leadville puts on an 80s Ski Party with DJ 10-Strip
- And Paul Cauthen returns to Belly Up Aspen for a 9pm show tonight
And here's a few things for Saturday morning and early afternoon…
- The Roaring Fork Youth Orchestra performs a sing-along tomorrow at 10am at the Silt Library
- The Life After 70 group gathers at the Carbondale Library at 10:30 tomorrow morning
- And for the readers in the valley, the Glenwood Community Center holds a Free-for-All Book Fair tomorrow from Noon to 5
