Mitzi Rapkin will sit down with rising literary star Ruben Reyes Jr., author of There Is a Rio Grande in Heaven, for a conversation about writing, legacy, and the power of storytelling to reshape the world. - Basalt Library's Swap It Like It's Hot Clothing Swap is ongoing today until 2pm
- Canyon Creek Schoolhouse in New Castle puts on the second day of their Country Craft Fair, running til 4pm
- The Shining Mountain Film Festival concludes with a 6:30 showing at The Wheeler Opera House
- The Milk Carton Kids perform at 7pm at Harris Concert Hall in Aspen, with Michaela Anne opening the evening.
- Murder By Death takes their farewell tour to Belly Up Aspen at 7pm
- Also at 7, TACAW holds a Teen Night with a Halloween Dance Party
- Rock Island closes down for the season with a party featuring local music group 432One, starting at 8pm
- And also at 8, Steve's Guitars welcomes swing & ragtime group d'Lovelies
Sunday's got a few options as well…
- The 3rd Annual Halloween Hustle for charity starts tomorrow at 8:30am at Glenwood Elementary School.
- A Poets & Writers Group gathers at the Carbondale Library from 3 to 5 tomorrow
- And also from 3 to 5 tomorrow, the Pitkin County Library presents traveling musician & storyteller Jason Walsmith
