It's time to celebrate another First Friday in Carbondale!
- The American Legion puts on Friday Afternoon Club at 4pm
- The Meeting Place Carbondale offers Yoga for People in Recovery, that's at 5 this evening
- Also at 5, Carbondale Arts holds an opening reception at The Launchpad for their 3 new exhibits that opened today, plus an Earth Offering Community Mandala outside at the same time
- Local music group Beep Bop Boop jams out at 6pm at Chacos Park
- The West Mountain Region Housing Coalition presents their Rally The Valley fundraiser, with a screening of A Decent Home, followed by a speaker panel, that's at the Third Street Center with doors opening at 6:30
- At 7:30, Thunder River Theatre begins performances of The Secretary, running for the next three weekends
- Elsewhere in the valley this evening, The Wheeler Opera House channels the Spirit of John Denver at 7:30
- Dawes performs at Belly Up Aspen at 8, with Sam Weber opening
- And the Ute Theater in Rifle presents Glitter In The Air: The Ultimate Pink Experience, that's also at 8 this evening

- Potato Day celebrates 116 years in Carbondale, including KDNK's annual record sale, running from 10am to 5pm tomorrow.
- Oktoberfest parties down at Glenwood Caverns tomorrow from 10 to 6
- And The Silt Library helps you transform old paintings into Haunted Masterpieces tomorrow at Noon
