Here's your community calendar for Thursday, February 26th, underwritten by Basalt Regional Library, presenting "What Remains Still Speaks: Blackout Poetry for Teens" later today at 4PM. Teens can explore the human experience through blackout poetry using words, art, and imagination to uncover poems about identity, emotion, resilience, and connection. - Lift Up heads to Glenwood Catholic Charities today from 10:30 to 1:30, and will also be at their Parachute warehouse from 12:30 to 3:30
- The Pitkin County Library heats up with a Children's Cooking Workshop at 4pm
- Over in Leadville, Tenderfoot Market puts on a Winter Farm Market starting at 4
- Today is the last day of Carbondale Arts' Valley Visual Art Show, that's open til 5pm at the Launchpad
- The Glenwood Library discusses Wild Mustangs of Colorado, as well as offering a Writing Workshop, both events are at 5 today
- Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers hold a Trivia Night, starting at 5:30 this evening at Carbondale Beerworks
- The Middle Colorado Watershed Council presents an Author Talk & Book Signing with Robert Crifasi at 6pm at the Hotel Colorado
- Dance Aspen On Tour heads to the Ute Theater in Rifle at 7pm tonight
- Also at 7, Comedian Michelle Buteau hits the stage at the Wheeler Opera House
- The Crystal Theatre brings the laughs downvalley with Stand Up At The Crystal, that's at 7:30.
- And If you're in a more serious mood, Thunder River Theatre begins its final weekend of K2 performances, starting at 7:30 this evening
We've also found a few festivities for the final Friday of February
- Lift Up distributes food & pantry items at the New Castle River Center from 9 to 1 tomorrow, and from 10 to 1 at the Rifle Library
- Musical Storytime brings the rhythm to the Carbondale Library tomorrow at 10:30
- And Triptides return to Carbondale for a live show at El Dorado tomorrow evening at 8:30
