Teens can explore the human experience through blackout poetry using words, art, and imagination to uncover poems about identity, emotion, resilience, and connection. - The Glenwood Library holds a Tabletop Game Night starting at 5:30 this evening
- Roaring Fork High School Basketball plays their last home games of the season, with girls varsity getting started at 5:30pm and boys tipoff at 7
- Also at 5:30, Mountain Heart Brewing in Carbondale puts on a Backcountry Film Festival
- Townline Trucks in Carbondale puts on live music with Pam & Dan starting at 6pm
- The Pitkin County Library heads to Joy & Wylde in Redstone for their Winter Open Mic Nights, that's also at 6 tonight
- The Collective Snowmass brings the grooves to the table for their Jazz Supper Club this evening at 6:30
- Also at 6:30, Eric Lewis plays the music of Sting at the Paul JAS Center in Aspen
- Then at 7, Wuthering Heights begins its second weekend at the Crystal Theatre
- CMC in Leadville screens Ski Africa, that's at 7pm, followed by a Q&A
- Steve's Guitars presents the Colorado College Bluegrass Showcase at 8 tonight
- Don't get Paranoid - the Ute Theater in Rifle welcomes Mr. Crowley, The Ozzy Osbourne Experience, that's also at 8pm this evening
- Back in Leadville, Hot Laps play live at Pastime Saloon at 9 tonight
- And Typical Ghost floats into Rock Island in Snowmass for a 9pm performance
The weekend will be in full swing tomorrow, here's just a sampling for Saturday…
- The Carbondale Branch puts on Zumba at the Library tomorrow morning at 9
- The Glenwood Library provides Citizenship Classes at 10:30am tomorrow
- Sunlight Mountain gets oldschool with a Onesie Day, featuring music by McMission artists Heady Hooligan, Dank Cilantro and Jeeradoe S. from 1:30 to 4:30 tomorrow.
- Army veteran Tim Heiney showcases his work at the Rifle Library for Art in the Stacks, that's tomorrow afternoon at 2pm
- And KDNK staff will be on-hand at the GA-20 concert at TACAW tomorrow evening, with records, merch and membership signups. Doors open at 7pm.
