 350-dot-org was founded by Vermonter and college professor Bill McKibben, one of the first to warn of the impending disaster of climate change. We have since shot past the goal of holding carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to 350 parts per million, but the organization remains a leading voice in the fight. During our fund drive, KDNK is inviting nonprofits in our listening area to join us in our studio and tell us, and you, what they are up to and why you should care. This morning news host Mike Lemmer was joined by Steve Kuschner, the Roaring Fork Valley coordinator of 350 Colorado, advocating for the climate and clean energy from Aspen to Glenwood Springs.
