Today is Primary Election Day. You still have until 7pm tonight to vote. In Garfield County, vote in person at Town Hall in Carbondale, the Glenwood Springs Community Center, the South Hall of the Garfield County Fairgrounds in Rifle, and Parachute Town Hall.

You can drop your ballot in an official ballot box at: Carbondale Town Hall, the county courthouse in Glenwood Springs, New Castle, Silt and Parachute Town Halls and the Garfield County/Rifle Administration building in Rifle. Voting centers and ballot boxes close at 7 PM.

Colorado’s primary elections will determine which candidates move on to the November general election for federal, state and local offices,

Colorado has open primaries:

  • Registered Democrats vote in the Democratic primary.
  • Registered Republicans vote in the Republican primary.
  • Unaffiliated voters will be sent ballots for both the Democratic and Republican primaries, but they may only vote on one ballot. Colorado also allows same-day voter registration through Election Day.
