The Community Calendar on KDNK is underwritten by the Mount Sopris Rotary Club. Rotary is holding a raffle, with all proceeds going to dental care for local children in need. Prizes include a 3-day trip to Denver with hotel and Broncos tickets. For more information, contact Pat Pier at 987-3265.

The Glenwood Springs Library offers musical storytime and other after-school activities for all ages at 4 today.

The Town Bicycle, Pedestrian and Trails Committee and Land + Shelter consultant Andi Korber present a public meeting tonight at 6 at Town Hall. to identify the most heavily-used pedestrian routes in town and how to make them safer at night.

The Wheeler Opera House and Telluride Mountainfilm present the award-winning documentary The Age of Consequences tonight at 6:30. The film connects the dots between climate change to the drought in Syria to instability in the Sahel to the growing refugee crisis in the Mediterranean. American Rivers and Wild Rose Consulting invite you to learn about the history, traditions and laws regarding water use and rights in Colorado and the West. Wednesday, November 9th and Thursday the 10th from 6 - 9 PM at the Third Street Center. The event is free but registration is helpful at 970.230.9300.

The monthly Yappy Hour with Colorado Animal Rescue is coming up on Thursday at Marble Distilling Company from 5:30 to 7 PM.  Mingle with some adoptable mutts while sipping on cockTAILs,such as the Muttarita and The Bloodhound Mary. CARE adoptables will be there, too. $1 from every cocktail all day goes to CARE.

KDNK’s annual Labor of Love auction and Holiday Bazaar is coming to the Village Smithy on Main Street in downtown Carbondale for December’s First Friday. The auction includes passes from Aspen Ski Co, tickets for Avalanche hockey, a Les Paul guitar, Hunter S Thompson artifacts, plus massages, haircuts, artwork and more.
