Artist Brian Colley Transcends a Medical Crisis to Create Art

For the last several years Brian Colley has endured a dual uncertainty: whether or not to surgically remove a mass around his pituitary gland at the base of his bran, and the uncertainty of experiencing puberty at the age of 38. That's enough to knock some people down or out. But Brian used his travails as inspiration for a new exhibition of art at the Launchpad. The show will hang for two more weeks.

A 45-year resident of the Roaring Fork Valley, a DJ since 1989, on KDNK staff since 2004.
