Sol Theatre Company and TACAW are excited to co-host a three-part professional development workshop for artists and educators interested in developing their skills as a teaching artist. This series is designed for creatives of all disciplines who want to further hone their teaching craft and create effective, engaging, and inclusive arts education programs.
Participants will explore the core responsibilities of a teaching artist, including classroom management, lesson planning, and adapting instruction for diverse learning needs. The workshop emphasizes practical tools and real-world application, culminating in hands-on teaching practice with youth actors. By the end of the series, artists will gain confidence in leading a classroom, designing age-appropriate lessons, and stepping into teaching artist roles in schools, community programs, and arts organizations.
This workshop is ideal for creatives who are curious about arts education, seeking supplemental income, or looking to expand their professional practice through teaching.
Must attend all 3 sessions. Previous workshop experience with Consensual Improv or elsewhere required. Let’s take this relationship to the next level! Go deeper with Consensual Improv. Explore long-form, sharpen your short form, and have even more fun with folks that are serious about improv. Previous experience is required (with Consensual Improv or elsewhere) to register.

Este programa es gratuito y todos los materiales serán provistos. Diseñado para personitas entre los 6 y los 12 años de edad.
Knitters and crocheters (and any other yarn workers) come together to work on and discuss projects, yarn, and techniques. Open to all; bring your own supplies and works-in-progress.
