A ban on big cat trophy hunting in Colorado could be on the state ballot in 2024. The group Cats Aren’t Trophies or CATS is behind a campaign to collect enough signatures to put the issue to voters. Reporter Amy Hadden Marsh spoke with Julie Marshall of Animal Wellness Action and Samantha Breugger, CATS campaign manager, about the issue and what’s behind the campaign. More information is at catsarenttrophies.org.
