Art in the Stacks returns to GWS library

Tonight the Glenwood Springs Branch Library is holding an artist talk for their current event “Art in the Stacks”, setup among the books. Pieces are placed across from the new books, and adjacent to the DVDs. All of the art has been created by local artists, generally with an autumnal theme. Library visitors can participate by viewing, or by walking over to the voting table and submitting a ballot for their favorite. I heard from library staff member (TAM-ara) Tamara Ochoa about her favorite:

"I really like Chasing Clouds. I think it's just it's really, kind of almost whimsical. The clouds just remind me of Colorado days actually. And when I'm stuck inside at work it's really nice to see that."

The collection is available to view in the library until December 4th, and awards to the artists with the most votes will be distributed afterwards.
