A conclusion to the saga which began last autumn is here, with results rolling in for the Special Election regarding Tony May’s seat on the Garfield Re-2 School Board.
The petition to remove May from the board was started by staff and community members who were dissatisfied by May’s conduct, as well as his preference for the American Birthright social studies standards that were voted down in Garfield Re-2 last year. Re-2 community member Scott Bolitho is running to replace him.
