Housing cost is a top concern for Coloradans in survey after survey, as real estate prices soar out of sight. According to the Bell Policy Center, Colorado is now the 8th least affordable state for housing, and that’s up a notch from 2022. The situation is especially dire in resort areas and mountain towns. Mobile home parks are a new front in the struggle for affordability, as they are snatched up by distant investors who ratchet up rents for the lower-income families who live there.
