The Town of Carbondale will be holding its regular municipal elections on April 7th. There are three trustee seats opening as well as the position of mayor.
Those who wish to run for a trustee seat can pick up a nomination petition starting January 6th from the Town Clerk Patrick Thibault. All candidates must be a qualified elector of the town, meaning eligible to vote, and a resident of the area, A citizen of the US at least 18, and have lived in the town of Carbondale for one consecutive year.
Petitions must be returned to the town clerk by 5:00 PM on Monday, January 26th. For more details, visit carbondalegov.org.
