Nine candidates are running for three Glenwood Springs City Council seats in next month’s election. Four are running for the at-large seat, currently occupied by Stephen Bershenyi. In the first of KDNK’s candidate interviews, at-large candidate Shelley Kaup, council member from 2007 - 2011, talks to Amy Hadden Marsh about the confluence development, city recycling, the Grand Avenue Bridge, and the city’s energy resources.

Amy Hadden Marsh has been reporting for KDNK since 2005. She became the host of Valley Voices, a longtime public affairs show, in 2006. She graduated with honors from Regis University with a Masters degree in Investigative Journalism in 2011 and says, "If it weren't for KDNK, I wouldn't have gone to graduate school and changed careers to journalism."
