Heather Mullen is the executive director of the Rifle Animal Shelter. For today’s Nonprofit Palooza, she talks to KDNK’s Amy Hadden Marsh about the shelter and why she’s been working there for 11 years.

Amy Hadden Marsh

Amy Hadden Marsh has been reporting for KDNK since 2005. She became the host of Valley Voices, a longtime public affairs show, in 2006. She graduated with honors from Regis University with a Masters degree in Investigative Journalism in 2011 and says, "If it weren't for KDNK, I wouldn't have gone to graduate school and changed careers to journalism."
