Glenwood Springs Police arrested a transient man Wednesday night in connection with a homicide in West Glenwood. Trevor Torryson, 42, has been charged with the murder of Keith Richard Wayne, 56, of Glenwood, whose body was found Wednesday morning near the West Glenwood Mall. According to a press release, the victim was found in a pool of blood around 8 AM Wednesday. An officer recognized a piece of clothing at the crime scene that belonged to Torryson. Officers found him at his camp in West Glenwood, near the Audi dealership. Autopsy reports showed multiple injuries to the victim’s head and neck. Glenwood Springs Police Chief Terry Wilson told KDNK that they do not believe a firearm was involved. Torryson was booked into the Garfield County Jail Wednesday.
