As diligently reported by the Sopris Sun, Carbondale trustees unanimously approved a major site plan review for an eleven-building, mixed-use developmentdue west of the roundabout. Sopris Sun editor Will Grandbois described the plan, which includes 23 deed-restricted units, during yesterday’s Everything Under the Sun on KDNK.
Despite historic controversy over developing this part of Carbondale, there were no public comments at the meeting. Water for the Crystal River Marketplace subdivision, including the new City Market, is to be allocated from the Rockford Ditch that also supplies Colorado Rocky Mountain School and Satank.
