Here's the latest election results as of 11:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2:
Voters in Aspen gave the nod to Torre to be their next mayor. He defeated Ann Mullins by 343 votes in a runoff election Tuesday.
In Glenwood Springs, voters firmly said no to a 3/4-cent sales tax increase to repair the city's pothole-riddled roads. Ballot Issue A, which would have raised $56 million for street maintenance, went down by a margin of 60 percent to 40 percent.
Ballot Issue B also failed by a similar margin. It would have given the city bond authority for up to $16 million of the new tax revenue to start working on road projects quickly.
In council elections Tuesday, Tony Hershey beat incumbent Jim Ingraham for the at-large seat 48 percent to 29 percent. Another candidate in the race, Erika Gibson, garnered 23 percent. In Ward 3, Charlie Willman won 51 percent to Jennifer Vanian's 38 percent and Ksana Oglesby's 11 percent.
Running unopposed was Paula Stepp for Ward 4 and Steve Davis for Ward 1.
