Could Vacancy Taxes Help the Housing Crisis in the Mountain West?

In 2017, Vancouver, Canada, became the first North American city to tax residential properties vacant for more than half the year. Kyle Mackie of KHOL reports on how western mountain towns are now eyeing signs of Vancouver’s success.

This story is part of a collaboration between Rocky Mountain Community Radio and the Solutions Journalism Network highlighting affordable housing solutions across the Mountain West.
