Susie Strode

Susie hosted the "Music Gumbo" show beginning in the 80s thru the early 2000s, and also parlayed the show into Music Gumbo Productions, bringing live music to the Roaring Fork Valley, with acts like Joe Ely, Delbert McClinton, Marcia Ball, Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, CJ Chenier, Buckwheat Zydeco, and many many more. She was also a KDNK employee on and off.

Susie passed away in February of 2019, her legacy lives on at the station with her son Tracy acting as the underwriting director as well as DJing as Son of a Gumbo.
