Mourners hold candles at a vigil in Glenwood Springs on Sunday night. The Bluebird Café has been hosting drag shows and other LGBTQ+ friendly events, and organizers held a remembrance there for those killed in the senseless Club Q mass shooting in Colorado Springs.

KDNK's news team talks with Kaleb Cook of Cook Inclusive Co. and Madison Partridge of Mountain Pride about the effects of the recent Club Q shooting on the Roaring Fork Valley's LGBTQ+ community. Plus, reflections from community members on the news.

Hattison Rensberry grew up in Rifle, CO and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and Drawing at the University of Northern Colorado. She comes to KDNK as reporter and host after working on the design-side of news for the past three years. Hattie does theater locally, photography, needlecrafts, and also provides Editorial Design for the Sopris Sun. Tea>Coffee
