Garfield County

Reporter Hattison Rensberry brings listeners Tuesday’s news, including: a GarCO commissioners overview, Carbondale trustees preview, and retired Navajo coal miners with black lung give a talk about compensation and benefits. And another look at SNAP benefits costs, some upcoming festivities at Theatre Aspen, and ways that ski resorts can bring a more diverse crowd to their slopes and lift up marginalized communities.

Hattison Rensberry grew up in Rifle, CO and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and Drawing at the University of Northern Colorado. She comes to KDNK as reporter and host after working on the design-side of news for the past three years. Hattie does theater locally, photography, needlecrafts, and also provides Editorial Design for the Sopris Sun. Tea>Coffee
