Watershed summit attendees listen intently to the data on soil moisture, and place their own guesses on what certain data points may be.

Reporter Hattison Rensberry brings listeners Friday’s news, including: a look at flow predictions for the Roaring Fork River, and a study of small birds shows how climate is altering our flying friends. Plus, we get updates on state legislation involving the Western Slope. Also, this Sunday marks the seasonal opening of lots of local national forest land to bikes and motorized vehicles … but you might encounter a wall of snow where there should be a road.

Hattison Rensberry grew up in Rifle, CO and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and Drawing at the University of Northern Colorado. She comes to KDNK as reporter and host after working on the design-side of news for the past three years. Hattie does theater locally, photography, needlecrafts, and also provides Editorial Design for the Sopris Sun. Tea>Coffee
