Hugh Phillips is the most recent addition on bass, and is a phenomenal songwriter in his own right. Not only has Hugh penned 100's of original songs but he is also a Dark Shadow recording artist- recorded and produced by Sam Bush Band's guitarist, Stephen Mougin.
After hundreds of requests to release an album, they went into Diamond Ranch Studios on February 13, 2021 to record their first album. The album of all original material was recorded and mastered by critically acclaimed singer, songwriter, and producer Jackson Emmer. The final mix was engineered by 2013 Grammy winning artist Chris Latham who has worked with many of Nashville's top musicians including Trisha Yearwood, Guy Clark, Brad Paisley, and John Oates just to name a few.
