Garco Libraries Ask for Secure Funding Part 2: Rifle and Parachute Libraries

The Garfield County Library District is asking voters to decide on Proposition 6A in November. The initiative would raise property taxes within the District to provide permanent baseline funding for six libraries from Carbondale to Parachute. Garfield County voters will be asked in November to approve Ballot Measure 6A, allowing the Library District to keep sales tax revenue.
