Feb 5, 2019

Updated at 10:00 PM Tuesday - The Colorado Department of Transportation
has reopened Interstate 70 through Glenwood Canyon in both directions. Two eastbound lanes are open, and one westbound lane.

Boulders cover I-70 in Glenwood Canyon this morning following a large rockslide. All lanes of the road are closed until further notice.

The interstate was closed at about 1:00 AM Tuesday, when a large rockslide sent huge boulders tumbling onto the pavement about a half-mile west of the Grizzly Creek rest area. CDOT has the latest road information at their website.
