Pussy Lungs lives and breathes music. She grew up in the Roaring Fork Valley listening to her dad's vinyl, devouring his collection of classic rock and blues. You may know him as Big Daddy of Big Daddy's Rock N' Blues, airing on KDNK for over 25 years! Her older brother, a former KDNK DJ as well, introduced her to metal music in her preteens. She started a variety music show on KDNK in 2012 called Mad Tea Party under the guise of Miss Autonomy. In 2014, she moved to Boston, DJ'd at her college radio station, was introduced to the Boston Punk scene, and continued to cultivate a taste for the rough edges of all genres of music. Back at KDNK since 2020, she now hosts Extreme Metal Takeover, focusing on new heavy tunes from a kaleidoscope of artists.

Growing up in the valley listening to KAJX in her parents’ car on the way to school, Eleanor learned the power and urgency of community storytelling. She was further captivated by the medium while interning at APR after graduating from Middlebury College in 2015.
