Growing up in New Jersey I listened to lots of rock ‘n roll. In the mid 70s my best friend in dental school was from Jamaica. Neville turned me on to the music of Bob Marley and the great reggae musicians of that time. I found reggae rhythms to be the heartbeat and the lyrics real life tribulations. The music coming from… Bunny Wailer, Peter Tosh, Dennis Brown, Toots, Third World, Jimmy Cliff, Black Uhuru, Itals, Sly & Robbie, Steel Pulse, Culture, Mighty Diamonds, and Gregory Isaacs… is what kept my vibe alive.

Kat lives in Western Colorado with her family and enjoys music and all things outdoors. She has been an Occupational Therapist since 2009 and started a private practice in 2016. Kat has a clinical and research background, so she brings the rigor of Western medicine into the realm of alternative healing. Kat has been dedicated to her own healing journey since 2008 and is ready to share her personal wisdom and experience. Current Ritual is part of a mission to unite ancient wisdom and modern science, improve quality of life for all, and break down socio-economic barriers to holistic health education. Mugsy Fay was raised in Carbondale since the age of 1 and grew up on KDNK, both in and out of the studio. After traveling the country and living throughout the Western U.S. for the better part of a decade, she returned to the valley and has devoted herself to giving back to the towns, people and organizations that made her who she is and continues to make our communities a magical place to call home. She not only hosts The Witching Hour every other Monday night, but is a local musician who performs regularly throughout the valley, an active volunteer with KDNK and other local nonprofits, and an art teacher on Carbondale Arts mobile art classroom, the incomparable Rosybelle. Catch her on the air, on stage, or out in the community. Mugsy is also the President of the KDNK Board of Directors through 2027.

Louie Girardot has been working as an IT professional since 1996 and has weathered a dizzying array of technological innovations since that time. Louie has previously never had a job that lasted this long - which he credits to the incredibly diverse range of industries that he gets to service - there is just never a dull moment. Some of his most interesting projects include a video system that captures video from inside underground sewer lines and a system that integrated two offices - one in New York City and one in Carbondale to function as if under the same roof.

Vanessa Harmony is a nursery grower, consultant, and educator specializing in food forests, edible forest gardens, heritage orchards, and permaculture design. She owns and operates Colorado Edible Forest, a plant nursery and consulting business in operation since 2016 with the mission to grow food, build soil, and nurture Nature via fruit trees, berry bushes, nitrogen-fixing shrubs, and edible perennial plants. As of 2022 Vanessa co-hosts Living Permaculture with Jerome Osentowski of Central Rocky Mountain Permaculture Institute (CRMPI).
