Classroom Collaborations

  • Seventh and eighth grade students in Mrs. Hernandez's class at Carbondale Middle School wrote and recorded original "I Rise" poems to share with our community.
  • Seventh grade students at Riverside Middle School in New Castle wrote original poems to entertain our community.
  • 6th grade students from Glenwood Springs Middle School wrote and recorded “Two Voice” poems, sharing Native American history through multiple perspectives over time. The poems are accompanied by PSAs about caring for Native lands and people.
  • 4th grade students from Basalt Elementary School wrote informative public service announcements about composting. They detail the process of composting, how to do it at home, and what BES does to compost.
  • Students from Riverview School in Glenwood Springs worked with the Andy Zanca Youth Empowerment Program to write and record informative projects.
