More gray wolves are on the ground on the Western Slope. Colorado Parks and Wildlife completed the second round of wolf releases over the weekend. This time, they came from Canada.

Daniel Curry is a range rider. He spends weeks in the backcountry of eastern Washington — in fine weather and foul — with only his trusted horse, following the herd and making sure he remains a buffer between cow and wolf… and wolf and rancher. Curry will be in Carbondale tonight (11/21) to talk about his work to keep the carnivore on the landscape.
