Incident at Willits Thursday Results in 2 Arrests

An incident unfolded Thursday, August 27 at the Willits townhomes on Evans Court in Willits. Pitkin County issued a shelter-in-place alert for Willits and El Jebel around 10:40 AM. KDNK Executive Director Corby Anderson was on the scene. Here's more from an interview with News Director Amy Hadden Marsh Thursday evening.


The public drop-off recycling center in Willits will close for good at the end of January. Now Basalt staff and Trustees are considering alternative options. KDNK's Lucas Turner has the story.
