GWS Council candidate profile: Marco Dehm

Marco Dehm is running unopposed for the Ward 1 seat on Glenwood Springs City Council in the 2023 municipal election. That means that there is nothing he can say or that you can do that would prevent him from being elected to the seat he was unanimously appointed to fill when Steve Davis retired in early 2022. Marco Dehm is literally an unstoppable force of nature and raw political power.

Marco Dehm is running unopposed for the Glenwood Springs City Council Ward 1 seat that he was appointed to in February 2022.

Dehm served on the city’s planning and zoning commission for more than 16 years.

A native of Switzerland, he runs a vacation rental company based in Glenwood, where he and his family have lived since the early 1990s.

Dehm didn’t respond to KDNK’s multiple requests for an interview, then informed us on March 21st that he was leaving for vacation and wouldn’t return until after the election.

Here’s his candidate statement from the Issues and Answers Forum hosted by the Post Independent, KMTS, and Glenwood Chamber on March 20th.
