Kenny Wayne Gentry and The Companions will return to everyone's favorite liquor store venue for Decembers 1st Friday of music!

Rooted in the soulful grit of a St. Louis upbringing and refined by the clarity of Colorado’s Western Slope, Ken Gentry and The Companions deliver a sound Ken calls "Ozark Soul." This acoustic ensemble is a tapestry of original compositions, bluegrass, old folk ballads, the driving rhythms of 1940s gypsy jazz, and even a few rock and roll favorites.
Ken’s musical journey is defined by a deep-seated desire to connect, which remains the heartbeat of his work today. A multi-instrumentalist and veteran of acclaimed projects like Elk Range, Ken brings a lifetime of storytelling and artistic collaboration to the stage—having shared it with the likes of Sam Bush, Andy Thorn, The Fretliners, and direct collaborations with Jackson Emmer, The Sweet Lilies, Chad Brock and more.
He is joined by two virtuosic standouts: Harris Jackson, a multi-degreed guitarist whose artistic precision anchors the group’s arrangements, and Rob Leisure, a classically trained bassist who provides the ensemble's deep, rhythmic pulse. Whether weaving through bluegrass, blues, or jazz, the mission of The Companions is simple: to create an honest, shared experience that resonates long after the final note.
