Let's Talk About It: Interfaith Dialogue
In times of increasing polarization and conflict, it is even more important to come together for meaningful conversations with those who differ from us. During this hour-long community conversation, we will guide you through a series of questions to help you speak from your heart and listen deeply. This dialogue is for people of all religious backgrounds, including those who are atheist and agnostic. A dialogue is not about debate, changing minds, or pushing agendas, but rather about learning how to hold space for difficult conversations. Please plan to arrive at least a few minutes early so we can get started on time. And please invite your friends and neighbors, including those with different identities and backgrounds. We look forward to sharing in meaningful conversation. Registration suggested (but if all tickets are taken, please come anyway).
With questions, please reach out to Elizabeth, the Adult Programming Coordinator at edewetter@basaltlibrary.org or 970-927-4311 x1000.
