Over 1,000 May Day Events are taking place across the nation to celebrate working people and demand a stop to the billionaire takeover. In solidarity with labor unions, immigrant rights organizers, and a broad coalition of progressive groups, we’re organizing to reclaim power from Trump, Musk, and their billioniare backers. For our local event, we’ll be lining the sidewalks along Grand Avenue near Sayre Park in Glenwood Springs from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, waving signs and making some noise! Everyone is welcome to join this peaceful protest. Bring a sign and bring some friends. Arrive by 3:30 to avoid the traffic. More info and register here: https://www.mobilize.us/mayday/event/779608/

The Colorado Agrivoltaic Learning Center is hosting a “Solar on Farmland” seminar in Glenwood Springs—a chance for local farmers, landowners, policymakers, and community members to learn how solar energy can work with agriculture, not against it.
As solar energy expands across Colorado, many rural communities are asking: What does this mean for farmland? This seminar is designed to answer that question—and empower attendees with real solutions.

Please register for a free ticket if you wish to attend.
