Stepping Stones is hosting their 3rd annual fundraiser, Stepping Up for Youth on Friday, September 19th from 5-8pm! Let's gather for a fun-filled evening of festivities and fundraising to honor our journey of empowering over 1,000 Carbondale youth.

🎟 Tickets: $30 general admission | $15 nonprofit partners (enter promo code COMMUNITY). Ticket includes tacos, dessert, non-alcoholic beverages.
🌮 Food: Tacos from Taqueria El Yaqui & dessert bar provided.
🍷 Drinks: Non-alcoholic beverages included in ticket; Cash bar available.
💵 Donations: Will be accepted via cash, check, credit card, Venmo & Paypal. Every dollar donated will go directly toward youth programs!
🏆 Prizes: Play bingo & lotería, bid in our silent auction, and enter our raffle for a chance to win amazing prizes from our generous sponsors.
🎵 Performances: Our youth are excited to share their talents through music, dance, cooking, and more!

A Way Out and The Meeting Place partner to offer two free yoga classes weekly for individuals, friends, and families in recovery from addiction. Mats, blocks, and straps are provided. No registration required.

This evening of tacos, desserts, Youth performances, lotería, community connection, and family fun is held in support of our local Youth programming. Stepping Stones offers year-round services to local Youth ages 10-24, completely free of charge! These include daily after-school drop-in hours, mental health support, tutoring, experiential outings, and much, much more.
STEPPING UP FOR YOUTH is our annual celebration of the past year's successes, and a chance for us to gather and look to the year ahead with our wonderful community. Please join us!

Celebrate Octoberfest on the Mountain! Join us for four festive Saturdays filled with live music by The Alpine Echo Band, mouthwatering German-inspired food, and seasonal craft beers, all set against the stunning backdrop of fall colors in the Rockies.
Beyond the brews and brats, there’s fun for all ages with axe throwing, caricature artists, face painting, games, and more. Take a scenic gondola ride, explore our famous cave tours, and enjoy thrilling rides and attractions—all included with park admission.

The ‘Move with Me’ Program is designed to introduce littles (18 months to 3 years plus a caregiver) to the joys of dance. Using fun, interactive music, props, and make-believe, we will practice listening to music, following directions, and moving our bodies to the beats! A healthy snack will be provided.

El programa ‘Move with Me’ está diseñado para introducir a los peques (de 18 meses a 3 años de edad, con una persona adulta a su cuidado) a la alegría de bailar. Utilizando música divertida e interactiva, diversos accesorios y nuestra imaginación, practicaremos ciertas capacidades como escuchar música, seguir instrucciones y mover nuestros cuerpos al ritmo del compás. Ofreceremos un refrigerio saludable.

Celebrate Leadville's Irish Heritage with a beautiful halfway to St. Patrick's Day Parade! Pipe bands, enthusiastic marchers and beautiful autumn weather await! Walk along Harrison Avenue with bagpipe bands. Free to all. Marchers meet at Mining Museum on 9th Street. For over 30 years, Leadville has held this tradition, honoring the key importance of Irish immigrants in the growth of Leadville, Colorado, and the mountain West. Everyone is welcome! Additional events will occur around town, including a concert by the Young Dubliners at the historic Tabor Opera House that evening. The next join us for a ceremony at the Leadville Irish Miners' Memorial in Evergreen Cemetery.

Jews across the world consider “The Days of Awe” — the ten days between Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year) and Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement) — a sacred opportunity for spiritual transformation. This High Holiday season is a time for teshuva — literally “returning” — a practice for finding our way back to our truest selves. The time invites soul searching and honest self-examination, demanding that we see ourselves not as we wish to be, but as we truly are. It is a time for reflection, repentance, and renewal, guided by ancient wisdom and grounded in hope of change. UU member and co-founder of Down Valley Jewish Families and Friends Niki Delson, raised as a secular Jew, will draw on personal experience, rabbinic teachings, and contemporary stories to describe her journey of seeking meaning and spiritual growth through some of the timeless practices of the Days of Awe.
