Welcome to the 2025 Annual Addiction Breakfast Symposium! Join us at TACAW (The Arts Campus at Willits) for a morning of insightful presentations and networking opportunities. Learn from experts in the field about the latest research and treatment options for addiction. This in-person event is a great chance to connect with like-minded individuals and expand your knowledge. Don’t miss out on this valuable opportunity to make a difference in the fight against addiction! An amazing breakfast is included and will be served from 8am until about 11:30am.

Opening September 8th at Main Street Gallery and The Framer, Ltd., see Playful Pottery by Shana Salaff. Her bold new dinnerware series brings painterly flair to everyday function. On display through October 25th, with a First Friday reception on October 3rd. Learn more at carbondaleclay.org.

Check out the exhibitions in the Carbondale Arts Gallery, featuring a variety of mediums by Courtney Kenny, Michael Kinsley, and Laura Dortmans.

Recording Time (with Scraps and Words) by mixed media artist Courtney Kenny incorporates poetry as a form of sketching to record observations, emotions, frustrations, and revelations. Through her own art and poetry, Courtney documents these visceral moments of awe.

Intimate. Immensity. Laura Dortmans’ ceramic sculptures perform as a surrogate for the physicality of her body. The solidification of gestural movement translates a moment of intimate touch and gives form to the immensity of internal geography; desire, tender love, preserved in space and time

Fluid Landscapes by Michael Kinsley features newer landscape paintings, notable for their intriguing amplification of nature’s sensual forms. These “fluid” landscapes in oil depict familiar scenes in southeastern Utah and western Colorado, especially in the Roaring Fork Valley.

All three shows are generously sponsored by Basalt Printing and Art Supply, and on display through October 30. The gallery is open weekdays 10am-5pm.

An engaging time where you and your child are invited to listen to stories, participate in large motor movement, experience sensory activities, and be able to interact with other children and caregivers. This is geared to children 0-3 years old.

High Rockies Harm Reduction provides free overdose prevention materials, education, resources and support, including Narcan, fentanyl test strips, condoms, syringe disposal, hygiene and wound care supplies, peer support and more EVERY FRIDAY in the Mid Valley Family Practice Parking lot from 12 PM - 2 PM

Join us for our weekly Friday afternoon club at the AMERICAN LEGION at 97 N. 3rd St. in Carbondale. There will be live music from 5 to 7 weekly, and a burger, a beer and a bag of chips for $10. We also have horseshoe pits, cornhole, and shuffleboard for some summer fun. This event is open to the public every Friday.

High Rockies Harm Reduction provides free overdose prevention materials, education, resources and support, including Narcan, fentanyl test strips, condoms, syringe disposal, hygiene and wound care supplies, peer support and more EVERY FRIDAY in the 3rd Street Center Parking Lot from 4 - 6 PM.

A Way Out and The Meeting Place partner to offer two free yoga classes weekly for individuals, friends, and families in recovery from addiction. Mats, blocks, and straps are provided. No registration required.
