Unwind, get creative, and connect with fellow makers at The Makers Nook, a monthly crafting program for adults at the Basalt Library. Held on the third Wednesday of each month from April through June, this hands-on series explores a different creative skill each session—perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike.

April 15th: Scrapbooking – Preserve your favorite memories with beautiful, personalized pages.

May 20th: Candle Making – Learn the art of crafting custom-scented candles to brighten your space.

June 17th: Macramé – Discover the basics of knotting and create a stylish handmade piece.

All materials are provided. Come relax, create, and leave with something uniquely yours!

Relájate, explora tu creatividad y conoce a otras personas con deseos de crear en el programa The Makers Nook (El rincón para fabricantes), un programa mensual de manualidades para adultos en la Biblioteca Regional de Basalt. Ofrecida el tercer miércoles de cada mes, desde abril hasta junio, esta serie práctica explora una destreza creativa en cada sesión — un programa perfecto para principiantes y artesanos expertos por igual.

Mayo 20: Elaboración de velas – Aprende el arte de crear velas con aromas personalizados para iluminar tu espacio.

You're invited to a morning of connection with Sopris Lodge Executive Director, Marie Herr! Enjoy light refreshments, meaningful conversation and the opportunity to ask questions, meet leadership and learn more about Sopris Lodge's three-tiered senior living community and the Serenity Peaks memory care program.
