Unleash your creativity and experiment with different art styles in Art Lab! This open studio program gives teens the space, supplies, and freedom to explore their artistic side. Whether you love painting, drawing, mixed media, watercolor, or want to try something completely new, Art Lab is a place to create, relax, and connect with other young artists. No experience is needed, just bring your imagination and a willingness to make something awesome!

¡Dale rienda suelta a tu creatividad y experimenta con diversos estilos en Art Lab! Este programa de estudio abierto le ofrece espacio, materiales y libertad a adolescentes que deseen explorar su lado artístico. Ya sea que te guste la pintura, el dibujo, los medios mixtos, las acuarelas, o que desees probar algo completamente nuevo, Art Lab es un lugar para crear, relajarte y relacionarte con otras personas artistas jóvenes. No se requiere experiencia previa, ¡sólo necesitas tu imaginación y el deseo de crear algo sorprendente!

MENORAH MAKING WORKSHOP
Thursday, October 8th, 6pm-8:30pm
Location: CCC’s Main Street Studio, 135 Main Street, Carbondale, CO

$65 before noon on October 1st
$75 after noon on October 1st.

Join us for a special evening making your own, handmade menorah out of clay. Participants will build their unique forms and decorate them with special underglaze paints if they so choose. We will then fire the pieces in our kilns.

Allow 2-4 weeks for pick-up.

An engaging time where you and your child are invited to listen to stories, participate in large motor movement, experience sensory activities, and be able to interact with other children and caregivers. This is geared to children 0-3 years old.

Zumba is a global dance phenomenon that invites the body and spirit into a state of pure, rhythmic connection. Originally inspired by the vibrant dance traditions of Latin America — Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, and Reggaeton — Zumba has since grown into a dynamic fusion of world rhythms, blending Afrobeat, Bollywood, Bhangra, Belly Dance, Hip Hop, and more into an electrifying celebration of movement.

At its core, Zumba is about intuitive dance expression. Rather than focusing on strict choreography or technical breakdowns, the structure of a Zumba class mirrors the architecture of music itself — simple, repeatable patterns tied to the chorus, verses, and bridges of each song. This approach allows dancers to anticipate transitions naturally, freeing them from the constraints of counting steps and encouraging a deeper, more instinctive relationship with rhythm.
