Join the Carbondale Clay Center for an unforgettable evening honoring the transformative power of ceramic arts and the community that brings it to life. Together, we celebrate creativity, connection, and the enduring impact of the Carbondale Clay Center across our region.
What Does Clay & Moonlight Support?
When we say everything, we mean it! Every dollar raised — through sponsorships, the paddle raise, and beyond — goes directly back into the Clay Center: its people, its programs, and the community they serve.
Event proceeds fund the full life of the Clay Center, from clay, glazes, and kiln maintenance to artist stipends, scholarships, and all of the people who keep the wheels turning. They sustain our classes, workshops, artist residency, exhibitions, community events, and outreach programs that bring people of all ages and backgrounds into meaningful connection with clay.
Our community is at the heart of everything we do, and we rely on your generosity to remain accessible to all. Thank you for making it all possible!

Students will experiment with drawing, painting, collage, and mixed media while learning basic art skills through hands-on projects and playful exploration. Emphasis is placed on creativity, curiosity, and self-expression rather than perfection, helping young artists build confidence and enjoy the process of making art.
