"Everlasting Floral Design" is a solo show by Abby Zlotnick, owner of Juniper Farm, whose show celebrates the timeless beauty of locally-grown flowers through all-dried, everlasting arrangements and installations. Abby has been consistently inspired by farming since her first farming experience in 2012. Since then, Abby has made it her mission to share a slice of the Earth's greatest joys with her community.

Both exhibitions are generously sponsored by Land + Shelter Architecture Studio and Down Valley Brewing, and are on display through October 29. The gallery is open weekdays 10am-5pm

Anderson Ranch Arts Center and Pitkin County Library invite the community to celebrate Día de los Muertos with a free, family-friendly arts and crafts gathering on Saturday, October 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pitkin County Library’s Dunaway Community Room in Aspen.

Guests of all ages are invited to drop in and create traditional altars and colorful skulls while learning about the history and traditions of this vibrant cultural celebration. The event offers an opportunity for families and community members to come together through art while honoring the spirit and traditions of Día de los Muertos.

The event is free and open to all ages.

Join Anderson Ranch Arts Center for a Visiting Critic conversation with Damien Davis, a Newark-based artist and curator whose practice recontextualizes cultural symbols to explore and challenge ideas of identity and history. His work brings together imagery, materials, and references from diverse cultures, creating new connections and perspectives.

Davis has exhibited at leading institutions including The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Arts and Design. He holds a master’s degree in Visual Arts Administration from New York University and brings a multidisciplinary perspective shaped by his work as both an artist and curator.

As part of Anderson Ranch’s Artists-in-Residence Program, Davis will provide critical feedback to resident artists and students, offering thoughtful insight into the development and direction of their work. During his visit, he will also share his practice and perspectives with the broader Ranch community through a public lecture.

Damien Davis’s Visiting Critic Lecture will take place October 28 from 4:30–5:30 p.m. in Schermer Meeting Hall. The lecture is free, open to the public, and available to attend in person or via livestream.
